Our Blend of the Month: Pride Month Tea

In order to show our support for the LGBTQIA+ community and to help fund donations to help prevent suicide in that community (via The Trevor Project), we designed this blend to celebrate!
Made with hibiscus, butterfly pea flowers, orange peels, dried cherries, and red rooibos tea, this packs a flavorful punch! But, at Cauldron Creations, it's never JUST about flavor, it's also about what this can do for your health as well as magically.
Let's start with hibiscus, a beautiful tropical flower that carries a wonderful sweet-tart flavor. This herb helps promote a healthier cardiovascular system and supports the liver because it's loaded with antioxidants (a word you're going to read a lot in this post and other posts). It's also been shown to be anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory! Now, for the magical elements of hibiscus: it's often linked to Venus and the element of Water, representing sensual and emotional love, making it great to use in love spells (including self-love).
Butterfly pea flower helps support brain health with its magical properties being used for tranquility and serenity, clarity and spiritual awakening (in some belief systems, it can be used for protection).
Orange peels and cherries are in here for flavor but that doesn't mean that they don't bring their own health and magical benefits. Both offer antioxidant properties while cherries alone have been shown to aid in muscle recovery. As for their magical benefits, orange peels are linked to positive energy and abundance, while dried cherries are definitely about love and romance.
Last, but certainly not least, is red rooibos tea. This tea offers antioxidants and some digestive support and it has such a lovely vanilla flavor. Magically, rooibos tea is used for in protection, banishing, and passionate love/bond strengthening rituals.
