Self-Heal, also known as Heal-All (botanical name is Prunella vulgaris) has been traditionally used for many things both topically and internally. This herb is considred an antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and an antioxidant. Topically, it's useful in wound healing when used as a poultice as well as skin conditions like eczema and acne. It's also been topically used for herpes management in balms/lotions and in mouth washes to improve oral health. It can be used in a rinse to help ease an irritated scalp or to fight dandruff.

Internally, Self-Heal can be used to lower overall inflammation in the body such as heart disease or irritable bowel disease and it can stimulate the immune system. It has been shown to be a strong anti-viral for diseases like HPV (human papillomavirus) by not letting the virus attach to cells or replicate. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), this herb is used as a liver tonic to remove "heat" (aka inflammation) and improve vision with red or tired eyes.

As for its witchcraft correspondences, it can be used in spells and rituals for healing and recovery including emotional trauma, spiritual fatigue, and soul-deep exhaustion. You can also use it for hope, courage, empowerment, protection, mending relationships, dreamwork, and purification spells and rituals.
