If you've ever smelled this herb, you will always recognize its scent! Angelica Root (Angelica archangelica and Angelica sinensis) has been used for a long time in traditional Chinese medicine (aka TCM, not to be confused with Turner Classic Movies). This particular herb has far-reaching healing properties, in fact, it's actually being studied for its effect on cancer. The medicinal uses of Angelica can be for digestion (increases digestive juices), for respiratory issues (has expectorant properties), for menstrual cramps (specifically the sinensis version), to fight against virus since it has antimicrobial powers, and it can help to increase circulation. This herb does not sit around and just smell strongly, it is very well-rounded.
What about it's magical properties? Since it's an amazing protection and cleansing herb, using it for those sort of rituals but also, this herb is a really good one to use in talismans or as a floor wash. Have I mentioned its strong scent? LOL.
If you've never heard of this herb before, now you know!
