Easy, Springy Witchy Equinox
If you can do just one thing...

Wipe down your doors and, if you’ve got the energy, your floors with an herbal and witchy floor wash! This recipe starts with the full moon happening on March 3 to create your cleansing and prosperity door and floor washing ritual.
Start with a gallon of (preferably spring or distilled) water in a clear container on the night of March 3rd or 4th and “draw down” the power of the moon straight into the water. How do you draw down the power of the moon? Intentions and visualization! Ground yourself, set the intention, then visualize a silver cord of moon energy coming straight from the moon and into your water. See the water glow with silvery light. And, no, you don’t have to actually HAVE eyes on the moon and, no, your water doesn’t HAVE to be in direct moonlight and, no, you don’t HAVE to put it outside (on a windowsill inside will do just fine). Try to collect it before the sun rises (I suggest leaving it for only a few hours then retrieving it to safety) as solar energy is different than lunar energy but if you can’t get it before sunrise, don’t freak out - it’s ok!
Now, you have a gallon of moon energy charged water, what’s next? To the stovetop!
Pour the water into a large pot on your stove then add each of these:
Handful of Fresh or dried basil (prosperity, abundance, good luck)
Handful of Lemon or orange/mandarin peels (purification, cleansing, protection, prosperity)
6 Dried Red Clovers (luck, prosperity, protection, love) (6 in numerology means harmony, balance, love)
Bring it all to a simmer and let it maintain that simmer for about 10-15 minutes. While it simmers, stir your intentions (more prosperity, more good luck, more protection, etc.) into it. Then, turn off the heat and just let it sit on the hot burner until it’s cooled off.
Once cooled off, strain it into your cleaning bucket then add about 1 cup of white distilled vinegar (if you don’t like the smell of vinegar, consider investing in some high octane and cheap vodka instead). Now, add about 10-20 drops of spearmint essential oil. You can even add a bit of salt for some added protection/cleansing whammy!
Speak this incantation over the mixture before you use it:
With herb and water, leaf and root,
I cleanse this home, branch and soot.
What lingers heavy, stale, or crossed,
Be lifted now, be cleared, be lost.
By salt and stem, by rain and flame,
Only good may cross our house’s frame.
Peace within and warding sure,
This home is blessed, this space is pure.
As I will it, it is done.
Now, mop or wipe away! Floors, doors, windowsills, baseboards! Out with the musty winter and in with the fresh spring (and, hopefully, some fresh money for you as well). Make sure to visualize cleaning away the cold energy of winter while seeing the energy of warmth, prosperity, and growth take its place!
